You'll see three rows of tabs on the main screen. In general, you'll choose to view something by something else, choosing
tabs from upper left to lower right. Once done, selections in the tree on the left drive what is shown on the right. More than one
selection (shift-click or ctrl-click) is often supported.
Right-click to see available actions for tree nodes and table rows.
Tool tips are used extensively. Hover your mouse pointer over a field, button or tab to see a pop-up with more detail. If the
tip disappears too soon, move off, move back, and slowly continue the hover motion over the component to keep the tool tip
visible indefinitely. Tool tips that start with a word or short phrase, plus a colon, are taken directly from the ITIL® glossaries
(with permission).

Public Database
Any data you enter will become public information, accessible by anyone on the Internet. (It is not pushed it out there, but
technically, it can be pulled or modified by anybody.) Please use mock names, numbers, etc.
Periodic Overwrites
Periodically, the entire database is overwritten from scratch with a new set of test data in order to "clean house". Other users may also
modify data you have entered. Thus, it is possible that data you enter today will be gone tomorrow. Obviously, this is not a flaw in the
application, but a necessary evil of offering it to the general public in demo mode.
Demo System Requirements
Your workstation must have the Java runtime environment (JRE) 6 or newer installed. The client has been fully tested
with the JRE on the Microsoft® Windows® operating system and the Mac OS® operating system, with occasional testing
on the Linux® operating system.
To connect to the demo database, your workstation must be able to initiate a TCP connection to 75.149.159.161
on port 3306. Check with your firewall administrator if you're getting an error launching the demo. Or try a
home PC which is more likely to have full outbound access to the Internet.
A display resolution of 1280x1024 is recommended to minimize scrolling, but is not necessarily required.

EnianWeb is the web-based flavor of the Enian thick client. It requires only a web browser with cookies, pop-up windows and
Javascript enabled, and has been tested with Internet Explorer® 8, Safari® 5, and Firefox 3.5.6. There are a few
differences worth noting:
Trees (except the Work tree) contain only search hits and related nodes, not every item available. This speeds
page loading by limiting the amount of data in the tree.
Check boxes allow you to (de)select tree nodes, with shift-click implying "entire branch".
Most recent browsers have an option in the "tab" section to open pop-up windows as new tabs instead. Enabling this is recommended,
but not required.
Features still under active development are either "grayed" or missing all together, relative to the Enian client.
